Type a goal, a skill, or what you’re working on. We turn it into a storybook the student fills in — pick cards, type their own words, or flip to Silly Mode for some chaos.

Paste an IEP goal, name the skill, or just describe what the student needs to practice.

How this helps (research)

Narrative intervention is the single highest-effect language treatment in school-age populations — Petersen (2011) meta-analysis found pooled d = 1.3, with transfer to reading comprehension, writing, and expressive vocabulary.

This storybook uses the Story Champs 2.0scaffolding model (Spencer & Petersen 2020) — every element of a grade-appropriate story grammar is elicited with sentence starters that embed syntactic targets (Ukrainetz 2006). Grade-appropriate element sets follow Westby (2012).

Pick mode + Silly Mode lower the entry bar for reluctant writers while keeping the same underlying structure. Write mode preserves expressive-language production for assessment.
